The Health and Wellness Revolution
The global health and wellness industry is a vast and rapidly expanding sector, covering diverse segments such as fitness, nutrition, mental health, and preventative healthcare. Valued at over $4.5 trillion, the industry is poised for continued growth, driven by increasing consumer awareness and demand for healthier lifestyles.
Over the past decade, the industry has undergone a significant transformation due to technological advancements. Innovations such as wearables, mobile health apps, personalized nutrition, and VR and AR treatments have empowered consumers to take greater control of their health.
Deteriorating trust and new regulations
The advent of these new technologies has enabled thousands of startups to enter the market. These companies often make bold claims about their impact on individual health and use new marketing channels to reach consumers directly.
This surge in companies, coupled with consumers' desire for autonomy over their health, has led to increasing confusion and skepticism among consumers. In response, the FTC updated its wellness marketing guidelines in 2023 and notified 700 companies of potential violations within four months of the update. These updates come with fines, and until resolved, companies are restricted from making claims about their products.
A founding team that was searching for a solution.

Theban has co-founded and led three startups to successful acquisitions across various sectors, from social networking to telecommunications and healthcare. Kyle brings significant operational experience in longevity and innovative healthcare solutions, having served as CEO of Northwest Pain Relief Centres, which operated nine centers across two states.
