Alex Norman
General Partner
Alex has 20+ years of operating, advising and investing experience. Prior to founding N49P, Alex launched AngelList Ventures, the largest startup investing platform in the world, in Canada and co-founded TechTO, Canada's largest startup community.
He had had two successful exits as an operator, one as a co-founded HomeSav and another as one of the first employees at Simply Business in London. He also worked at startups in San Francisco and New York and advised companies on behalf of Lehman Brothers and McKinsey & Co.
Alex has a BCom from McGill University and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Doug Penick

Doug is responsible for investor relations and assisting portfolio companies with sales and customer relations. Prior to N49P, Doug worked at Goldman Sachs for 16 years in credit derivative sales where he was a managing director.
Doug has a BCom from McGill University. Doug is an active Member of the Andover Development Board.
